1. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Release date: 6th May 2022

After the events of No Way Home where Doctor Strange helped out Peter Parker, he is facing the fury and ruthlessness of the multiverse. The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s multiverse is in desperate need of repair, and  Doctor Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, will try to fix it. He’ll be joined by Elizabeth Olsen the Scarlet Witch, Benedict Wong as Wong who is the new Sorcerer Supreme and Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez, a new hero with the power to cross into other realities. The group will battle with monsters from all over the multiverse and an evil version of Doctor Strange.

After a 13-year wait, James Cameron’s sequel is not only one of the most anticipated films of the decade as he welcomes viewers back to Pandora. The movie shows Jake Sully, played by Sam Worthington, and Neytiri, played by Zoe Saldana, fleeing their home to protect their family when an old threat returns. The sequel also stars Kate Winslet and Sigourney Weaver.

3. The Northman

The Northman is a revenge thriller set in  tenth-century Iceland. It is a star studded star cast for a story about a viking prince who is out to avenge the death of his father, who will be played by Ethan Hawke, and save his mother, who will be played by Nicole Kidman.

4. Morbius

Following the success of the two “Venom” films comes another Villain centric spinoff where Jared Leto transforms into Morbius, a doctor who attempts to cure himself of a rare blood disease but ends up becoming a powerful, flying, blood-thirsty vampire. Michael Keaton, who also starred in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ as a prominent villain Vulture, is also set to make an appearance in the film.

Finally, our need for speed will be satisfied when Tom Cruise returns to the cockpit for the Top Gun sequel. Pete Maverick Mitchell is back and as rebellious as ever, reuniting with Tom Iceman Kazansky played by Val Kilmer. Florence Pugh and Harry Styles team up for Don’t Worry Darling. The movie  has been described as a psychological thriller set in mid-century America focusing on an unhappy housewife. But it’s not your ordinary chipped picket fence domestic mystery because Styles’ character holds a “dark secret”. 

8. Ambulance

Michael Bay’s upcoming action flick tells the story of the desperation people go through when their healthcare system fails to protect them. Ambulance is a story about a pair of thieves who unknowingly rob an ambulance carrying an EMT and a patient in critical condition. A high-speed chase ensues, and the brothers have to figure out how to keep their hostages alive while trying to get away from the law. 

9. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

In a sad and shocking turn of events, we lost Chadwick Boseman to colon cancer in 2020. He was set to star as T’Challa in the sequel to the movie but now there have been speculations that T’Challa’s young sister Shuri,  played by Letitia Wright, would take the throne.

10. Legally Blonde 3

Release date: May, 2022

The feel-good and iconic franchise is back with a third part. It will star Reese Witherspoon as the beloved Elle Woods. Jennifer Coolidge is returning, and the film will be the feature debut of Jamie Suk.
