Rumi, who is played by Taapsee Pannu and Vicky, who is played by Vicky Kaushal, are wildly in love. Their wild phase ends once Rumi’s family catches them together and pressurises them to get married but Vicky gets cold feet and backs out. Eventually, Rumi agrees to an arranged marriage with Robbie, who is played by Abhishek Bachchan. Thus, starts the tale of a love triangle which revolves around love, lust, infidelity and disloyalty.

The story starts with the detectives trying to solve the suspected murder of Rishu. When Rani is called in for questioning as a suspect, she narrates the story that started 6 months ago when they got married. Rishu and Rani have opposite personalities, Rani is nothing like the ‘Sundar, Susheel’ wife Rishu’s family had wished for him and Rishu was nothing like the husband Rani desired. Their complicated love story begins once Rishu forgives Rani for cheating on him with his cousin brother.

The movie ”Match Point" is a grey thriller where each and every character is rotten. This is not a movie about good and evil but rather about survival of the fittest in the modern world. Chris, who is played by Jonathan Rhys-Meyers becomes friends with Tom, played by Matthew Goode, who is from an uber-rich family. Chris meets up with the family and instantly attracts Chole, Tom’s sister, in order to get a job with her wealthy father. Things get complicated when Tom starts a dangerous affair with Tom’s girlfriend, Nola who is played by Scarlett Johansson.
