GST 2.0 Changes

We commend the Government of India for its progressive initiative to rationalize GST rates applicable on products manufactured and marketed by Zea Maize Pvt Ltd. The Government of India has announced GST reforms rationalizing GST rates across food, with the objective of enhancing affordability and driving consumption. These revised GST rates will be effective from 22nd September 2025.
All our products would now all fall under the 5% GST bracket. The GST for our products will be moving to an uniform slab of 5% from the current (multiple) slabs of 5%, 12% and 18% across our portfolio. This is great news for our consumers and our mutual business. This initiative would help with increasing consumer spending resulting in the expansion of the category.
The company will pass on the benefits of the rationalization completely (in fact higher than the proposed GST reduction on some skus) to our customers by reducing the pricing from 22nd September 2025. We look forward to your support for a smooth transition.
